The Bible shows faithful people felt this exact weariness. Elijah, after big victories, hit a wall and prayed to die. He said, “Enough! Now, LORD, take my life” (1 Kings 19:4). God didn’t shame him, He sent rest, food, and renewed purpose.

Jesus meets us right here. He says:
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28; ESV says “all who labor and are heavy laden”).
He knows the weight. God is close when your heart is crushed:
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18).
In this broken world, life can feel crushing. But your story isn’t over. God sustains you today and offers real hope in Christ now and forever.
