Elizabeth Ladon Kerry - known by some as Poppy or Liz, my loving mother, passed away today at the age of 87. I am so moved by the outpouring of love, anecdotes, and stories about my mother over the last few days. https://t.co/tq6LOMZ0Sp
@cedarparkparks just went to brushy creek sports park today for the first time since the remodel. They turned a beautiful area into a space that feels like a prison yard. Why?!
Parents came prepared with solutions, data, and good faith. LISD leaders showed up with none of the above—no answers, no transparency, no respect for the community they serve. That isn’t leadership, it’s avoidance. Trust is gone. #LISD#Accountability
“Ford Motor and General Motors were shut out of the top 10. The first GM model was the Chevy Colorado in 23rd place. The first Ford was the Lincoln Corsair in 29th place.” https://t.co/fdaXpmc5go
One of our most important civic obligations is participating in the political process and deciding whom to vote for in our upcoming presidential election. By now everyone seems to think that this election is a two-horse race, and many have complained about the options.
I think all of us need to consider another viable option, that is @RobertKennedyJr. He is only viable if we consider him as the act of including him for consideration is what makes him a viable alternative.
I have not decided whether or not I will vote for RFK, but I have spent considerable time with him over the last few months and believe that he is both a viable candidate and one worthy of serious consideration.
In order to be able to consider RFK, you need to put aside what you have read about RFK or ‘heard’ about him, and rather listen to what he has actually said and read what he has actually written.
If you do so, I think you will be intrigued. This is not to say that you will agree with all of his policies, but you won’t agree with all of @POTUS Biden’s or @realDonaldTrump’s either.
I have decided that I am not going to vote for Biden for various reasons which I will enumerate at another time, but I am seriously considering @RFK and @realDonaldTrump.
None of us need to make a decision now, but we should carefully study the alternatives so when the election comes, we can make an educated decision.
I have a favorable impression of RFK based on the hours that we have spent together and his willingness to take on controversial views even when any campaign adviser would advise him to not go there.
One of the most important qualities for a president in my opinion is a willingness to make decisions based on principles regardless of what the polls might say. RFK has shown time and again that he is willing to do so. This is a mark of strong character in my view.
To get to know him better, watch this mini-doc on his life. I think you will find it interesting and enjoyable to watch.
We cannot rely on the media to tell us whom to vote for. The media have their own agenda and in my experience that agenda is not always aligned and perhaps often not aligned with what is best for our country.
We owe it to ourselves and our country to listen, learn and judge. I trust the wisdom of the American people to get this right, but only if we take the time to do our research.
@leadlagreport If everyone pulls their money out of banks tomorrow, where are they going to put it? Another bank?
Could it actually fuel a rally in equities with good FCF as people look for 'safe' harbors for their money? Could we actually see a counter-intuitive rally?
@WR4NYGov@squawksquare@GovRonDeSantis This. 100% this. Republicans are learning that their fringe, extremist, maga candidates will not appeal to moderates.
