@mportillo7673@tom_karnes@doctor2pi Hi! I think the workshop idea is great for both students and parents. With this idea, parents will have the confidence to help their students and look over the quality of work. #CSUBTEd#csubedte4200

A4. A great resource of information is other teachers with experience! Chances are if they have been teaching for over 10 years they have seen it all and can provide great insight to systems that may or may not work.

A3. In my experience, when assisting multilingual learners the talk-to-text, and text-to-talk features on many programs are game changers. Sometimes students can speak the language but have trouble reading or writing the words they want to use

A2. A technological resource I would recommend to current or future teachers would be Renaissance k-12 which features a reading program that can adapt to the academic needs of each student. It also features a read-to-me feature for students who may struggle to read
@AndreaGTeaches@doctor2pi Hi Andrea, that is a great idea. I think I will adopt this idea as well. A FAQ page would also be super helpful for parents and students alike.

A1. Teachers and parents can utilize technology to ensure live communication. Students perform better in school when parents are aware of the expectations and assignments. There are platforms such as Remind that allow instant communication.
