Burton Phillips and Elisha Bhugwandeen attended the 8th Annual Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) conference in Mauritius on 5 and 6 October. ACER provides a valuable platform for competition authorities to share knowledge, keep abreast of key developments across the region, and build networks for collaboration between agencies.
The conference was an ideal opportunity to engage with competition regulators, economists and academics from across the continent. Burton Philipps was asked to chair an important panel session on Digital platforms and competition challenges in Africa.
