Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 with the graduating officers of the 45th Specialized Diplomatic Course and position holders of the 44th SDC at the Foreign Service Academy, Islamabad.

DPM/FM distributed medals to the position holders of the 44th and 45th SDCs and certificates to the graduating officers of the 45th SDC.

He congratulated the officers on successfully completing their training and wished them success in their future careers in the service of Pakistan.

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50, today addressed the graduation ceremony of the 45th Specialized Diplomatic Course (SDC) at the Foreign Service Academy, Islamabad, and inaugurated Phase-I of its renovated premises.

Congratulating the graduating officers and their families, DPM/FM highlighted the Academy’s role in preparing generations of Pakistani diplomats. He noted that, in addition to training Pakistan’s Foreign Service, the Academy has trained over 1,600 diplomats from 122 countries.

He underscored the importance of knowledge, sound judgment and character in advancing Pakistan’s interests across political, economic, technological, educational and people-to-people spheres.

DPM/FM thanked the Government of the People’s Republic of China for its generous support and funding for the renovation initiative, describing it as another reflection of the close and enduring Pakistan-China friendship.

He called on the graduating officers to serve Pakistan with professionalism, integrity and compassion, keeping Pakistan’s interests at the heart of their work, and wished them every success in their careers.

Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity!

After the delegation-level talks between Pakistan and the UAE, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 and his counterpart His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan @ABZayed, the dignitaries signed Memorandums of Understanding on Cultural Cooperation and the establishment of Joint Committee for Consular Affairs.

The Deputy Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers also witnessed the exchange of MoU on the establishment of the UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council.

These documents are aimed at further strengthening the bonds between the people as well as business people of the two countries.
