what if tho: it's not Zerrikania, it's KORATH. the (actual) desert that Ciri, protagonist of the game they are connecting to, has something to do with?
a good way to explore her past, trauma and resulting personality traits, which were notably absent from tw3.
IGN Poland claims that they’ve known about The Witcher 3 getting a third expansion for years
Here’s new info they’ve revealed:
- Third Expansion will add in a new map
- Desert Environment, possibly Zerrikania
- Rumored to launch in May
- Bridges gap between Witcher 3 and Witcher 4
- Expected to be massive, Blood & Wine sized DLC
- Most likely will only be available on PS5/XSX/PC, no last gen
- Developed by Fool’s Theory, who is also developing The Witcher 1 Remake
- At this point, we’ve had multiple polish insiders, analysts and IGN Poland confirm that this is happening, all that remains is the inevitable announcement
I absolutely need to replay Witcher 3 as my old saves are gone, before this drops. Feels like a dream come true that will tide us over until Witcher 4 in a couple of years!
also the cyberpunk tcg is just chefs kiss after wasting gwent's potential to the point of killing it for the sake of this yellow eyesore, cartoon villain shit
if Mozart could listen to Slippery When Wet (1986) he would weep tears of joy that his beloved musical traditions of offensively choreographed key changes and extremely obvious crude puns lived on for centuries after his death
@Molepium you don't see the same vitriol from them for geralt getting more attractive with each game even tho him looking offputting serves the books' point about xenophobia. or yknow for triss wearing cleavage. it's only "muh lore" when it doesn't serve some little man's fantasy.
if Ciri didn't go through the grasses, all these pseudo gaming journalists suddenly turned lore experts would be raging about "The Witcher" no longer playing like one.
believe it or not you don't have to follow Sapko's every word, the man isn't above making mistakes (and is inconsistent in his own world). change for the sake of delivering a good story is not a bad thing.
TW3's uncursing of Avallac'h by putting him through it opened up a door for the trial of grasses. all it takes is a dedicated mage.
and the "waah there should be no female witchers" take is also just getting sillier and sillier with each passing day.
