“Everybody has this capacity or possibility to do, but sometimes we just sit with it and we don’t move on to do what we have to do. All of us have that ability and it’s better when you think like that at a much younger stage so that you grow into it. Then you are able to build yourself to resolve even bigger challenges.”
H.E. Paul Kagame, the President of the Republic of Rwanda

#AFSForum2026.
Africa! We need to talk about how we can better Nourish our Nations.
How was it done in past generations? How are we doing it today? And how will we need to do it in the future as the world changes and conditions vary?
One of the dilemmas the #AFSForum2026 theme will unravel is this: what does a food system look like when it doesn't just produce more food......but produces safe, nutritious, affordable food for everyone? Because that's one of the targets laid out in the @_AfricanUnion #CAADP Strategy and Action Plan (2026–2035).
As stakeholders convene in Kigali, we certainly will get the answers. See you at the Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) starting from 31st August.
From dialogue to delivery: Leaders and innovators will gather in Kigali for #AFSForum2026 (31 Aug – 4 Sep) to address food security and youth job creation across Africa.
