The area that China now calls its "Tibet Autonomous Region" is only around half of what was historically the nation of Tibet. China has literally been wiping Tibet off the map.
Tibetan monk Go Sherab Gyatso was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for peacefully expressing his views. This is the 4th time he's been detained in his life.
As long as Tibet isn't free, innocent Tibetans will continue to suffer. Free Tibet!

The direction of our lives needs to be positive. We weren’t born to cause trouble or do harm to others. For our life to be of value, I think we must develop good human qualities – warmth, kindness, compassion. Then our life will become meaningful and more peaceful – happier.
Today, there is too strong a sense of ‘us’ and ‘them’. There’s too much sense of ‘my friends’ or ‘my enemy’. But we can change that. I’m committed to the idea of the oneness of humanity. As human beings we are all the same. What’s more we all have to live together on this planet.
