@the6eyed @ltsKairos Amazing wow, it makes his death feel justified in the story, as it's him finally making up for his previous decision of "living as a curse" and leaving Yuji all alone.
@mel19944@therealZNO@visegrad24 This is also a bad argument! Malcolm X was against “American interests”. Removal of segregation was also against “American interests”. Emancipation was also against “American interests” at once point as well! Don’t take American interests as your God!
@netanel_93 @therealZNO@visegrad24 In that same manner someone can be American and love America and still disagree with their governments actions! Lol! Many Americans disagree with the Iraq war, does that mean they have no appreciate for America? Is America a god and we have to submit to everything it does?
@netanel_93 @therealZNO@visegrad24 I’m Egyptian. That’s all there is to it. Many Egyptians criticize their governments policies and the current President but still love the country. America is a country I also love and appreciate for the opportunities it has given me, but it doesn’t bare it from criticism.
@mel19944@therealZNO@visegrad24 You also didn’t address that America has lied to justify wars! 500k dead Iraqis for imaginary weapons is still a fresh memory! I reserve my right to doubt “American Interests”.
@mel19944@therealZNO@visegrad24 I also noticed you didn’t address the Christian Palestinian pastors speech or the popes condemning of the genocide perpetuated by Israel and America. Does being American also supersede being Christian if you are one? Is the pope anti-American? lol
@therealZNO@visegrad24 “Assimilate” what does this mean exactly? Adopt every one of your views? We learned your language, take part in your culture, and consume your media. I think that’s pretty close to assimilating. Patriotism doesn’t supersede morality.
