@jude4paws@glenpen60@Qldaah So are you saying all accused criminals should have access to their alleged victims private lives? For eg someone is up on charges for breaking and entering private property, should they have the right to get access to the home owners phone records for the 6 months before?
@Dmac05266664@DrVicFielding You claim “it’s proven her story isn’t accurate” so please provide proof of this claim or admit you don’t know if she is telling the truth or not. Nobody knows - therefore, she may be telling the truth - therefore your claim that she is proven wrong is a lie.
@AndreasOdenburg@Dmac05266664@DrVicFielding Link please. She was on the stand (he wasn’t) and I’ve yet to find any evidence or legal finding disproving anything she has said. If you claim it exists, prove it. And no, media headlines claiming she is lying don’t count as proof. And no he wasn’t found innocent by the courts.
@Dmac05266664@DrVicFielding Where was it “proven” that her story wasn’t accurate? A juror caused a mistrial, there was no finding of innocence by the courts - there was no finding at all because it was a mistrial. Legally no one knows who is telling the truth.
The Albanese Government is taking action to drive down energy costs. This more than $1.6 billion Save Energy, Save on Bills package in the 2023–24 Budget will help to relieve these pressures by making energy-performance upgrades more accessible and affordable.🧵
For more than a decade, union members across Australia have fought to make sure workers aren’t left behind in the energy transition.
The Net Zero Authority will make sure that the workers who kept our lights on for decades are supported as we transition to net zero.

This week the EU moved to outlaw the sale of products linked to deforestation around the world.
Australia must stop broadscale landclearing if we want our export markets for agriculture and timber products to remain strong.
@j_burgess82 @MOC088882 @Tempaest@newscomauHQ It’s not just our idea, it’s literally the law of the land. That’s why everyone is pointing out to you that it’s illegal, regardless of whether you think it’s ok.
Thank you @DavidPocock for deciding to support the Secure Jobs Better Pay Bill. It will make a real difference for millions of working Australians and their families who are struggling now and have waited for so long for fair pay rises.

Just a very normal situation where one landlord asks some other landlords about how much extra she should take from her 89-year-old tenant who already pays $2455 a month.
This, amidst a housing/cost of living crisis.
Yeah, nah. Join a party of protest and achieve ... protest. The right to which unquestionably deserves better protection from certain governments (hello Tas, @VictorianLabor, NSW). Or join @AustralianLabor and work and achieve change - climate, environment, equality.
Or: Rentseeking tax avoider, which exports most of its profits and most of our gas. wants expedited licence for more of the same at the expense of farmers and traditional owners and dubious consumer benefit. https://t.co/GrSWbmzULQ
LEAN does not support Minister @MadeleineMHKing's comments today on Santos' gas project at Narrabri. Local communities & first nations people have been resisting this development for over a decade. Listening to those most impacted would be a good place to start on this one.
Just a reminder that if @AustralianLabor had won federally in 2016, we would long since have had the review of the National Electricity Market identified back then as urgent to ensure it is fit for purpose in the clean energy transition ...
