1. We are all having a wonderful time over on Bluesky; it's buzzing now.🐝 People following each other at rapid pace. Reminds me of peak twitter!
2. Don't be a late adopter!
This plane is crashing into the water and it's time to follow the strip lighting to your nearest emergency exit.
I prefer Bluesky to Threads, but I'm on both! If you give me a follow I will reciprocate.
@MayneReport Eli's Melbourne based and I reckon a sydney subeditor has seen the words "Toorak Rd HQ" and said to themselves, "you can't name check a local road in a national newspaper, I'm changing that". and stuffed it up in the process.
@exfatloss@SonyaScauf My family has people who think this and people who don't. It might be related to the idea of supertasters: some people are esepcially sensitive to some tastes (and smells). https://t.co/CnoHxddgYT
@heritage_why I'm pro-tower. I reckon one reason fitzroy and prahran are cool and north melbourne isn't, is the public housing is denser there than in north melb.
@aussiewongm@lzhl1150 City of Melbourne is actually decent at undestanding the merits of bigger open spaces. the pocket park just down the hill from here got expanded a couple of years ago. https://t.co/2Fytyrhchb
Grab your mates, pack a picnic and come check out the new and improved Hawke & Adderley Park. We’ve doubled its size from 800m2 to 1800m2 of green space for West Melbourne to enjoy.
@abcnews This is how they make recycled mulch: Grinding up old pallets and building material. In a country where 1 in 3 homes contains asbestos, you can see how they'd need to VERY careful to not get asbestos in there. I think we should stop using recycled mulch for a while ...
@realBrookNash if you're a freelance knowledge worker yep. (I'm one)
if you need equipment/space and branding/marketing or you actually become a real business then the reply guys are right. Becoming a lawn guy or an electrician and you need cash to set up, there's BIG risk
@s4me_info @sjmnotes
The effort preference task is fatally flawed because you can play it strategically. Healthy volunteer F played it perfectly and got his data excluded from the trial! #mecfs@NIH
I see media concentration arguments around the traps. But the top 5 websites have different owners and the #1 site is owned collectively. Meanwhile Guardian and The New Daily are grinding ever upward.
I've been a bit slack with these recently… forgot to share Nielsen news website rankings for September when they came out last week. @abcnews holds No1 for 9th consecutive month. @GuardianAus steady at No7. 9news/7news swap 4/5 and TheOz drops out of top10
