I'm truly thrilled to announce our director and writer, both of whom I interviewed as part of the production team. Both have a genuine passion for #HarryPotter, and having read Francesca's pilot script and heard Mark's vision, I'm certain the TV show will more than live up to expectations.
before this starts anymore shit: this is a copypasta and i don’t actually think he looks like he just crawled out of a grave! i just hate phillip because in the books the man is a literal predator and eloise’s entire book feels like a disservice to her character
I get why the show runners gave so much more attention to the Polin love story. They were invested in Pen as a long-standing main character. But I think they really underestimated how much Simone meant to all the POC women who never got to see themselves in regency shows
she hates men, heterosexual marriage sounds like a prison to her, the only guy she’s ever liked her best friend basically told her to and she had an actual meltdown when said best friend got married that only her canonically queer brother noticed
@flodayaclarkes part of me is still so excited because we’re getting a canon main sapphic couple but the other part is so pissed off straight people have the audacity to complain as if this show hasn’t already changed things from the books + acting like they don’t have millions of other things-
michaela comes in thinking eloise is francesca, john's wife. she only asks "and you must be?" to francesca and when fran says her name michaela goes from 😊 to 😐 cause she realized she fell at first sight for her cousin's wife
#bridgerton
“bridgerton fans are so evil” and it’s literally just women being disappointed their favourite love story won’t be adapted after years of anticipating it
