I'll save my body horror for the ICD sticking out of my side.

@wil_da_beast630 Where in the hell do they get the idea we lose our teeth? The hair/nails thing is variable, but generally grows back. AND we have lowered our chances of certain cancers. Its not 'body horror,' its the body's majesty.

It is not lost on quilters & seamstresses that the best electric machines are made by brands like Husquevarna.

@wil_da_beast630 Hubby is installing outlets in a (MY) studio this weekend. Not all benefits are about money. Yes, I paid for the building itself. I have a job that let me make that decision, with his support. He almost always made more than me, but *I* got to do all the fun stuff with the kids.

Grow veggies, plant fruit/nut trees, have chickens. Learn to sew/knit/can/dry/preserve/bake/ferment. (Just the minimum).

@wil_da_beast630 The hours of sun we get aren't actually changing. When I was in school, they used to say DST/PST were so that we got 'more daylight,' which was never accurate. There are months when I go to work in the dark & come home in the dark regardless of clock changes.
