Good morning from #BadlandsNationalPark! One of my first real geology field trips was to this park so the yellow/red paleosols and the stratigraphy (Chadron, Brule, Sharps, and Rockford ash formations) will always hold a special place in my geo heart

Amazing weekend spent in #GlacierNationalPark! Found stromatolites, red and green argillites , and the Purcell sill in formations of the Belt Supergroup; hiked to the top of Piegan and Pollock Mtns; and kayaked down the Middle Fork of the Flathead
