@holtsfamilyhis1 I just don’t get it. Why would a #ChairMuseum not host a chair makers ancestor talk. I think that they have seriously underestimated the interest for so many local people that they could pass the modest fee onto 🤷♀️

I've just come across this oil painting. It's a view east of the boat builders' yards and barges lining the #Thames foreshore near Stangate, #Lambeth by Pembury, 1853. Searle's boatyard. was probably the most notable in Lambeth at this time.
