Welcome to Ellesmere Yard - making, doing and learning at Thomas Telford's canalside workshops. #EllesmereYarden2023 June 3rd & 4th free family friendly fun.
Congrats! You’ve made it half-way through the week 🙌
It goes without saying that we’re huge advocates for spending time by, or on, water. Make sure to set aside some time out this week to get some fresh air and take notice of the world around you 💙
Plans to open up to the public one of the canal network’s most historic working yards have received a boost with a development grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund - read more here:

As Hibiscus Rising was being installed in one part of Leeds, in another, the major installation 'A Light and Sound Transit' by Hans Peter Kuhn was being decommissioned. 15years apart, these artworks could not be more different - but a line can be drawn between them.
Tradition & History .... and a cheeky Sausage & Cider Festival opposite 😉🍻
Sat 9th Sept
Ellesmere Yard from 11am (free tour, book below)
ECC Festival from 12pm (live music, family fun, bbq, bar + Cricket - £3 entry under 18's free)
