@texasrunnerDFW@Jared_Guynes I’m always appalled when festival vendors charge like $20 for mediocre street food. But vendors have to pay thousands just to sell. It’s ludicrous. Any other part of the world, such events would be much more reasonable for everybody.
@STLChrisH The mechanic did their job, diagnosed an issue, provided a product/solution, and charged reasonable labor. Now he’s wants to google the part # and shop online. Would he have known to change that air filter himself if not for the mechanic? Probably not.
@blueprintsmb22 It's def not just you. I always regret not taking a much needed vacation during the summer months when things grind to a halt - i always feel as if there's *something* i can do to will more sales in. Def a MUCH slower pace than finance...spend time with the fam while you can
Founders have long memories. When the chips are down and the times dark, they always remember who was helpful, who was easy to work with, and who was a pain the ass.
I think this pattern explains why startup investors tend to be good humans. Bad ones are ejected quickly.
