Imagine being a new nurse, happily pregnant after infertility, & your world is shattered by a lethal diagnosis...props to conservatives for your work to prolong suffering.

Funds are covered for the procedure but are needed for time off work. I graduated as a nurse last year and I don’t qualify for FMLA or PTO.

Stop asking me if I feel bad for white nurses losing their jobs for refusing to get vaccinated & crying about it on social media. I don’t feel sorry for these nurses who are okay with putting patients at risk. I don’t feel sorry for these nurses who compare this to “segregation.”
When a 4-year-old dies form a Covid infection passed to her by her anti-vaxx parents, that isn’t “God calling her home.” That’s tragically negligent parenting and cult behavior resulting in the loss of an innocent life and it honestly never has to happen.
@axvxpres My professor two semesters ago had to start prefacing discussions with “please be kind” and stated we should just comment on classmates post we aligned with bc I was not scared at all to call people out on their bullshit.
You're actually not a mess at all.
You're just a feeling person in a messy world.
You are exactly right to feel a lot right now.
It does not mean you're weak- it means you're strong enough to be paying attention.
Be gentle with you, please.
Trauma survivors are used to being blamed for all the bad things in their lives-- and we develop this skewed perspective where it becomes REALLY difficult to ACTUALLY gauge what we can or should take realistic responsibility for.
Untangling that sh*t takes a minute.
Kids who are abused, neglected, and/or abandoned tend to blame themselves. And as we grow up, a lot of us struggle to shake that belief-- that it MUST have been something about US.
A kid can't MAKE an adult abuse, neglect, or abandon them.
Reread that sentence.
Again.
