Soldado & Adebayor only "kept him out" because of poor judgement from Poch. Other players in the squad could see Kane was ready to start long before Poch.

Kane saved Poch's job and is the reason he's still here half a decade later for the debate. Poch gave Kane nothing except typical rotation time & one hail mary.

The more I think about it, the more overrated Poch seems. He transformed a top 6 team into a top 4 team by accidentally uncovering one of the best strikers in the world already sitting in his squad. He's just kept Spurs steady ever since then with continuous wage increments.

Spine-tingling nostalgia listening to late '00s UK hardcore albums; tragically, the last hurrah of the genre's compilations. Diehard fans slated HTID 2 & 3 and Bonkers 18 etc. at the time as "too mainstream-poppy". With hindsight, great music from hardcore's peak! #happyhardcore

@archefluxx Even an RB vinyl couldn't sell more than 1000 copies in '07, yet solidly middling prod./DJs like Adam Harris could actually live off HC at the time because of events. (Twitter is a bad venue to discuss the complex history but it would be fascinating to do an essay or something!)
