I wrote a piece about what it was like navigating identity in a foreign country while learning how to cook, check it out here πhttps://t.co/DCDJ2lwv2b
The only reason why I ever started cooking was because I was alone and homesick on the other side of the world from my family
I was living in my ethnic motherland and the Korean food was ridiculously good, but I missed my western staples β so I made them myself
I rarely made Korean food while I was in Korea because restaurants were so cheap and delicious, but I dabbled from time to time to try to impress my girlfriend
@Om_Gupta10 Awesome, keep it up man. I'm personally going to keep shipping, and I'm digging into the Captain's Table curriculum as well.
My advice is to take advantage of the community as much as possible. A lot of great other writers that are going through what you're going through too!
