Youth Council was amazing for me, not only did i gain confidence and make lots of new friends but i helped make a change in my community for young people! I highly recommend anyone to put their name forward🤍(someone needs to take over from me!!)

Actions agreed by Communities group include:
1) Automatic enrolment for the under 22 bus travel card through schools (with parental permission)
2) Creating ataster card for 12-18 year olds that allow them access to 12 leisure, coaching, swimming or skating sessions a year

Joint Meeting Completed! Some amazing actions voted on today and i look forward to see the future of the youth council! I’ll miss my Tuesday night meetings and being part of YC but it has been an amazing 2.5 years! Thank you to everyone🤍

8🧵. I didn’t know what i was coming into with Youth Council 2 and a half years ago, but coming out of it i can say i feel i’ve made a difference within my community and grown so much as a person and it has been such a great opportunity. I encourage any young person to do this!🤍
