WWE has this weird, meta way of booking their heel women lately.

Fans complain that Liv Morgan goes months without defending the Women’s World Championship and has a terrible reign. WWE turns around and uses that criticism as part of her on-screen heel heat by having her deliberately avoid defending the title.

Now fans are complaining that Blake Monroe got called up months ago and still hasn’t wrestled one match. So WWE has her deliberately sabotage her own matches and avoid wrestling for heel heat.

I’m not sure that’s the best way to go about things. Purposely not giving fans what they want doesn’t always make them want it more. Sometimes it just makes them stop caring.

That’s just me, though.
