As of 8pm May 28, setting fires for any reason is prohibited in woods/within 1000 ft of woods in Queens, Lunenburg, Shelburne, Yarmouth, Digby, Annapolis & Kings counties, including private campground & backyard fires. Also banned in provincial parks in these counties since 2pm.

There is a long list of road closures across HRM at this time, many closed or impassible due to trees, wires, and other hazards. I'm not going to produce a list at this stage. Suffice to say it is unfit for driving. I do gather that HRM crews are working to keep key arteries open
