For the people in California, when choosing the Propositions, please actually READ what the propositions are saying and what they’re about to do. Proposition 40: It imposes a one-time tax of up to 5% on the net worth of California residents (as of Jan. 1, 2026) with covered assets over $1 billion.

Covered assets include businesses, securities, art, and intellectual property; real estate and most retirement accounts are excluded. The tax is due in 2027 (or over five years at higher cost).

Ninety percent of revenue funds public health care; 10% goes to food assistance, education, and administration. It cannot replace existing funds.

Keep in mind, there are not that many billionaires living in America, what happens when they all decide they want to leave America and make themselves a home in another country. They have plenty of money and funds to do that, then what do you have left?

So when you’re voting, think about this.

Unfortunately this every where. I feel for teachers because they do the best they could teaching students, and now it’s to the point they’re teaching kids AND parents. Everything these kids do and say starts at home. If parents can’t control their children, imagine them as adults. We’re in big trouble. Such a sad time we’re in.

It comes down to the parents. Our education system and parents are failing our kids. I remember going to school and everyone had to behave, everyone had to learn and do the work to pass, you weren’t even given an option

We have gotten too soft and there needs to be punishments and accountability again
