Muammar Gaddafi gave up his nuclear program in 2003.
He negotiated. He complied. He handed over the centrifuges and the documentation and accepted international inspectors and did everything the West said a responsible leader should do.
He believed the deal.
He believed that compliance would produce security.
In 2011, NATO bombed his country for seven months.
Hillary Clinton, upon hearing of his death, after he had been captured, sodomized with a bayonet, and killed by a mob, appeared on camera and laughed:
"We came, we saw, he died."
Kim Jong-un watched this.
The Iranian leadership watched this.
Every government on Earth that was considering what compliance with Western demands actually produces watched this.
Gaddafi is the lesson.
Not the lesson the West wants to teach.
The lesson history actually teaches.
The empire does not reward disarmament.
It schedules it.
They call it a “free market” until you trade outside the dollar, nationalize your resources, or elect a leader Washington doesn’t approve of. Then come the sanctions. Then come the coups. Then comes war. Suddenly, “free market” means following Washington’s rules.
Korea.
There are Americans alive today who cannot tell you a single thing about Korea before the war.
Before the 38th parallel.
Before the "police action" that killed three million people.
They don't know that Korea was a Japanese colony from 1910 to 1945, during which the Japanese conducted a systematic campaign to erase Korean language, culture, and national identity.
They don't know that when Japan was defeated in 1945, Korea was arbitrarily divided at the 38th parallel.
Not by Koreans.
By two American military planners, Dean Rusk and Charles Bonesteel, working with a National Geographic map.
The division had nothing to do with Korean geography, Korean politics, or Korean consent.
They don't know that the division immediately produced a humanitarian catastrophe, splitting families, separating farmers from their land, dividing an economy that had functioned as a unit.
They don't know that both the northern and southern governments believed in Korean reunification and that the question of who started the Korean War is genuinely more complicated than American history acknowledges.
They just know:
North Korea is the enemy.
A crazy, nuclear, cartoon villain of a country whose people are starving.
They do not know that the United States bombed North Korea so comprehensively during the war that American commanders reported there was nothing left to bomb.
That 75 to 80 percent of North Korean cities were destroyed.
That a generation of North Koreans grew up with no memory of a time before American bombers overhead.
You want to know why North Korea wants nuclear weapons?
Ask what happened to countries that didn't have them when America decided they were the enemy.
Iraq.
Libya.
Then ask what happened to North Korea itself.
The nuclear program is not insanity.
It is the lesson.
Perfectly, rationally learned.
Counterintuitively, the looming economic collapse across the US sphere of influence, with bonds, stocks and currencies buckling under extreme pressures (and real estate and AI bubbles of historic propprtions about to burst) - this threat is not a deterrence for American warmongering, but an encouragement.
If financial and economic ruin is what's coming, than at least they can prove their manhood by going to war, and having Iran and China to blame for all their troubles, and with a war also providing an excellent excuse for suspension of liberties and rights, which would be harder to do under normal circumstances.
Trump would be much more likely to avoid a war for a functioning and thriving economy: but if it crashing anyway, he can at least enjoy the aura of a great wartime leader.
Of course, it is all a terrible miscalculation, as the US is guaranteed both economic destruction and military defeat in this combo scenario, but nevertheless, I think this is increasingly the view in the Alamo, or the White House. War not as the danger, but as a mirage of safety
Mexico's former spy chief Tomas Zeron is wanted in Mexico and subject to an Interpol red notice for orchestrating the 2014 kidnap and murder of 43 university students. Guess which country is hiding him and refusing to extradite as punishment for Mexico's votes at the UN? Correct
🇷🇺Russia: The Soviet Union no longer exists, can you let us into NATO like everyone else?
🇺🇸USA: No
🇷🇺Russia: Okay, but can you please not threaten us by expanding NATO to the East?
🇺🇸USA: No
🇷🇺Russia: Alright, we saw you're developing new missile systems, will you let us work on them with you?
🇺🇸USA: No
🇷🇺Russia: Fine, hypersonic missiles it is, but can you at least not put military bases right in front of our borders?
🇺🇸USA: No
🇷🇺Russia: Well, you just carried out a military coup to overthrow a democratic election in Ukraine, can we still have a friendly relationship with them?
🇺🇸USA: No
Russia: Gotcha, but the people of Crimea are really pissed off about that coup, can you please let them have independence?
🇺🇸USA: No
🇷🇺Russia: Roger, but surely you can at the very least stop bombing the civilians living in Donbass, right?
🇺🇸USA: No
🇷🇺Russia: Huh, we've been trying to find a diplomatic solution for a 8 years but you refuse to even talk to us... I guess that if you want to use military force to solve issues so much we have no choice but to do the same.
🇺🇸USA: OH MY GOD PUTIN IS A MADMAN, AN IMPERIALIST GENOCIDAL DICTATOR, LITERALLY THE SECOND COMING OF HITLER, WE MUST STOP HIM AT ANY COST BEFORE HE TRIES TO CONQUER ALL OF EUROPE

The imperialist gangsters who run the US and Israeli regimes are preparing massive attacks on Iran's energy infrastructure.
They plan to destroy power plants and refineries, in a terrorist plot to leave Iranians in the dark.
This is a huge escalation, and Iran will retaliate.
Usually I would not recommend anyone debate a Zionist or be next to one at all in similar settings, and all the more so with someone as vile and dirty as this old genocide Epstein witch.
But Iran's purity of heart and mind, and its unique, religious and philosophical devotion and comprehensive intentionality allows them to perform the miracle of interacting with evil without mixing with it, and hammering it while staying clear of its toxic reach.
What we're seeing Marandi perform here is the result of supreme cultural development which is an almost singular historical phenomenon. Khamenei would be proud, I'm sure
"We have underestimated these people, this country, this government, their political system. They have checks and balances. They have a sophisticated civil society. They have institutions. We have grossly underestimated every single aspect of Iran."

The US is a dystopian police state:
ICE agents killed a random man, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo -- a father of 3 with no criminal record who lived in the US for 35 years and was driving to work -- because ICE-Gestapo thugs confused him with another immigrant from a different country.
So much for supposed "media freedom":
The EU already banned Russian media outlets like RT, forcing social media websites to censor their accounts.
Now Europe is prosecuting 3 people because they shared RT videos on their personal websites.
In the "democratic" EU, you now risk going to prison if you share a Russian media video. This is not an exaggeration.

I will write about this more in a dedicated essay, but I have to say it on the day his funeral procession begins: Ali Khamenei changed and shaped history like a very small number of individuals ever did.
He will remain the biggest and most consequential spiritual and political leader many generations have witnessed. He was a great, great, great man; a brave, brilliant giant and a trailblazer of historic importance. There is no end to the lessons humanity can and should learn from him.
Personally, I will always look up to him with great admiration. He was one of a kind. May his memory light the way for everyone who steadfastly stand and fight for good
