يوم 21 فيفري 1973 اسقطت اسرائيل طائرة ركاب مدنية في الجوّ وهي الرحلة 114 للخطوط الجوية العربية الليبية وكانت الطائرة وهي من طراز بوينغ 727، متجهة من طرابلس إلى القاهرة عبر بنغازي فضلّت طريقها بسبب عاصفة رملية وخطأ ملاحي ودخلت أجواء سيناء المحتلة آنذاك فأطلقت عليها مقاتلتان إسرائيليتان من طراز «فانتوم» النار فسقطت وقُتل 108 من أصل 113 شخصًا كانوا على متنها من بينهم وزير الخارجية الليبي الأسبق صالح بويصيرو أدانت منظمة الطيران المدني الدولي (ICAO) ولم تقر اسراييل بالمسؤولية القانونية عن ذلك

- وفي 24 جويلية 1950 اطلقت مقاتلة إسرائيلية النار على طائرة ركاب لبنانية (DC-3) قرب الحدود فقُتل راكبان وجُرح آخرون وهبطت الطائرة في بيروت.
- وفي28 ديسمبر 1968 دمرت غارة كوماندوس اسرائيلية
على مطار بيروت نحو 13 طائرة مدنية على الأرض تابعة لطيران الشرق الأوسط وشركات لبنانية أخرى.
- وفي 10 أوت 1973 تم إجبار طائرة ركاب لبنانية مستأجرة من الخطوط العراقية على الهبوط في إسرائيل بحثًا عن جورج حبش.
- وفي 4 فيفري 1986 تم اعتراض طائرة ليبية خاصة وإجبارها على الهبوط.
- وفي ماي 2025 اتت غارات على مطار صنعاء دمّرت طائرات مدنية تابعة للخطوط اليمنية على الأرض.

وهناك خاصة الطائرة المصرية «إليوشن 14» التي أُسقطت في 28 أكتوبر 1956 وهي طائرة نقل عسكرية تقلّ ضباطًا من هيئة الأركان المصرية .

News: Seven #Ethiopian armed groups formally announce formation of a coalition

Seven Ethiopian opposition and armed groups have formally announced the formation of a coalition they called the Ethiopian Peoples’ Forces Coalition for Survival, declaring a joint objective of “removing” the Prosperity Party-led government and establishing an “inclusive transitional government.”

In its statement released today, the newly established ‘Coalition for Survival’ accused the Prosperity Party-led government of presiding over what it described as widespread insecurity, armed conflict, displacement, poverty and the erosion of democratic and human rights.

The coalition comprises the Amhara Fano National Movement, Oromo Liberation Army , Tigray People’s Liberation Front , Ogaden National Liberation Front , Afar National Unity Revolutionary Front, Benishangul Peoples’ Liberation Movement, and Gumuz Peoples’ Democratic Movement.

وثّق تقرير لجنة تقصي الحقائق الذي تم تقديمه لمجلس حقوق الإنسان اليوم مقدار التورط الاماراتي في سفك دماء السودانيين واستمرار الحرب واتساع نطاق الانتهاكات ضد المدنيين. وفي مواجهة هذه الحقائق، جاء البيان الإماراتي مجدداً محمّلاً بخطاب التبرير وصرف الأنظار عن الدور الذي توثق الأدلة والتقارير الأممية مساهمتها في تمكينه ودعم الجرائم التي تحدث في السودان منذ 15 أبريل 2023.
لقد ان للعالم ان يلتفت الي الحقائق التي ظل يتجاهل النظر اليها، ويعمل بشكل جاد على وقف اكبر كارثة انسانية في زمننا المعاصر تسببت فيها الحرب التي تشنها مليشيا الدعم السريع المدعومة من نظام اولاد زايد الحاكم في ابوظبي.

African Union Commission Welcomes Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue Initiative.

Since the outbreak of the Sudanese crisis in April 2023, the leadership of the African Union Commission has sought to bridge the divides among Sudanese stakeholders and foster an environment conducive to ending the armed conflict—thereby ensuring peace and stability in Sudan—by embedding a culture of dialogue to build a shared national vision.

Therefore, the leadership of the African Union Commission has consistently called for upholding unity and national institutions, and for working to consolidate the democratic state.

In this context, the leadership of the Commission welcomes the launch of an initiative to facilitate a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue within Sudan, under the supervision of an independent committee of Sudanese elders.

To ensure the success of this ambitious political process, the Commission’s leadership recommends that consultations encompass all Sudanese civil, political, and societal stakeholders, based on the principles of inclusivity and genuine Sudanese ownership and leadership.

The ultimate goal should be a united, sovereign, and peaceful Sudan governed by legitimate civilian institutions, with one national security architecture and effective mechanisms for resolving political and social differences peacefully.

Undoubtedly, the initiative reinforces the African Union’s roadmap and the track of the Quintet Mechanism within a coherent strategy led by Sudanese stakeholders.

IS ETHIOPIA A COLONY OF THE UAE?

"In fact, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the decision maker in Addis Ababa," said former Ethiopian diplomat Mohamed Hassan, who argued that Ethiopia has been reduced to a de-facto colony of the UAE through financial capture, gold smuggling, and proxy warfare.

In an interview with Sovereign Media’s Ahmed Kaballo, the veteran Marxist detailed how Abu Dhabi leverages its vast financial resources to buy off Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, turning him into a puppet ruler who acts as the primary regional hegemon for Emirati interests. 

Hassan outlined how this sub-imperial arrangement drives two core strategies.

Alongside pointing out what he calls the UAE's port imperialism, Hassan noted how the UAE orchestrates massive smuggling operations out of Sudan’s immense gold reserves, routing stolen wealth through client states like Ethiopia and Chad to enrich Abu Dhabi.

Secondly, Hassan adds, Abiy Ahmed facilitates the war on Sudan under Emirati direction, training UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia fighters on Ethiopian soil and funneling weapons and mercenaries across the border to ravage the Sudanese people.

Furthermore, Hassan highlights how this foreign subjugation has coincided with domestic ruin.

"Of course, [Abiy Ahmed] is losing most parts of the country. The whole northern Ethiopia is out of his hand. Probably he might even collapse very soon," Hassan told Kaballo. 

Hassan also blamed Abiy Ahmed's neglect for the systematic degradation of Ethiopia's state apparatus and education system, citing a World Bank report which states that Ethiopian human capital is among the worst in Africa and Ethiopia’s own ministry of education stating that 42% of graduates are unable to find jobs.
