Whippet crossbreed. Young adult. Stunning Bow is a beautiful blue in colour, he’s super excitable and nothing is done slowly or gently. We would hope that when he settles into a home environment he will calm nicely, everything is just so fun and exciting, so exciting that he doesn’t know what to do with himself.
Bow is very friendly with people and would make a great adventuring companion. We are looking for a home with experience of owning similar breeds, an active lifestyle will be essential as Bow wouldn’t currently be satisfied with a sedate lifestyle and a short walk each day. A home without small pets will be required, a home with another compatible dog may be a possibility.
Any children living within the home or regularly visiting would need to be 10 years+, we have no previous history for Bow and he’s like a rocket with a whippy tail.

Please retweet to help Marnie find a home #YORKSHIRE#UK Available for adoption, registered British Charity✅
Details or apply below👇👇👇 https://t.co/yCdOW1pOl3 is amazing – she LOVES everyone she meets! She is a 6 yr old American Bulldog and an absolute big softie who greets everyone with the wiggliest bum! Marnie needs a home (or foster) with a family who have large breed experience just because she’s a big girl, so has strength behind her if she does pull on lead, but she mostly walks very well on lead and listens well to asking her to slow up if she’s getting a bit excited, but when she does pull to something excited, she will need someone confident and capable of handling her.
Marnie is fully housetrained, is very quiet and settled when she’s left on her own, and doesn’t chew, so we think she’ll be happy being left on her own for a few hours with no issues at all. She also travels well – what a good girl!! Marnie will be best suited to a pet free home at the moment.
Marnie has sadly had her ears ‘cropped’ at some point in her past – this makes her appearance much harsher than the reality of what she is really like and we really hope people can see past this and see her for the loving big softie that she really is.
Please note: Marnie is NOT a banned breed (XL Bully), and we have official paperwork to support this. She’s just an all round amazing girl who deserves the absolute world from now on. ** PLEASE FILL IN A PRE ADOPTION FORM IF YOU CAN OFFER MARNIE EITHER A PERMANANT HOME, OR A TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME WHILE SHE WAITS TO FIND HER FOREVER HOME – SHE REALLY NEEDS TO BE IN A HOME ENVIRONMENT ASAP ** ** THE ADOPTION FEE IS £300 ** ** ALL COSTS FOR DOGS IN FOSTER CARE ARE COVERED BY OUR CHARITY **- Helping Yorkshire Poundies Dog Rescue.

Marnie has had her ears mutilated. To carry this out or arrange this is illegal in the UK.
Very well said. Please share this post far and wide. Beautiful Nyla desperately needs a rescue before her time runs out.
These kill shelters are an awful place for any creature. Nyla deserves a chance to leave alive and finally know safety, love, and kindness again.
Please keep sharing. Her life may depend on it. 💔🐾
Please retweet to help Chase find a forever home #Staffordshire#UK 🏡 29 August 2026
Details or apply below https://t.co/lSuN8mbTEn
Male 9 years. Chase is a 9yr old neutered collie. He came into our care as his owners felt they no longer had the time to give him. He has lived in a rural area and would possibly benefit from the same again. He is a friendly boy but would be better suited to a quiet home without young children. Chase is housetrained, is ok being left alone for a few hours, loves to play ball, has lived with a cats and travels well.
He prefers his own space away from other dogs so would need to be an only dog. He does sometimes lunge at traffic if being walked by a busy road PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION ON HOW DO I ADOPT PAGE BEFORE CONTACTING US - Thank you. YOU WILL NEED TO TRAVEL TO OUR CENTRE WHICH IS BASED IN STAFFORDSHIRE.

PLEASE READ THROUGH
So, here we are again with another difficult post — difficult to write and, for many, difficult to read. I make no apologies, because this is something people need to understand.
The dog world has lost its way, and the situation is worsening, not improving. More and more dogs are being abandoned at every stage of life — from puppies to end‑of‑life. Neutering is neglected, essential medical treatment is ignored, and basic training, socialisation, and understanding are all too often dismissed. The list goes on.
Far too many people feel entitled. They believe they have an automatic right to own a dog, to breed puppies with little thought for responsible rehoming as long as money changes hands. They believe they have the right to keep a dog regardless of whether their circumstances, accommodation, finances, or breed choice are appropriate. And when it inevitably goes wrong, they abandon, neglect, or give up their dogs — expecting rescues to pick up the pieces.
And we do, whenever we possibly can. But the reality is brutal: the costs are overwhelming, suitable homes are increasingly scarce, and the numbers are rising relentlessly. Rescues are closing due to lack of funding, burnout, and ill health. Meanwhile, new “pop‑up rescues” appear with little experience, offering minimal assessment and support.
We can rehome the fluffy doodle‑types, the tiny Chihuahuas, the sweet Shih Tzus, and the small spaniels many times over. But our limited kennel spaces — which have been full for months — are occupied by dogs who need time, commitment, and that special kind of adopter willing to take on the real work once they leave kennels.
There are always a few extraordinary people who go above and beyond for true rescue dogs, and we will continue to fight for the “no hopers” — the dogs at highest risk simply because they are not easy or popular.
Right now, we have several long‑term dogs who desperately need a chance. They have been posted many times, yet suitable offers remain few or nonexistent:
SHANE has been in boarding kennels for well over a year. We have covered his food, wormer, flea and tick treatment, and neutering, and the kennels have kindly kept him all this time. But every visit breaks our hearts. With no kennel spaces available, Shane still has no offers.
SKYE has been in foster for months. Recently, her fosterers could no longer keep her, and although we received a kind temporary offer, it only lasts until 6th September. After that, she has nowhere to go, and the constant moves are starting to affect her.
MOSS and CEDAR, brothers, have lived their entire 2.5 years in kennels. They need a very special home — together or apart — and both deserve a real chance at life beyond kennel walls.
WAFFLE and SHADOW, a young Dachshund‑mix brother and sister, were dumped locally by their breeder and have been in kennels ever since. They were only babies, and the lack of normality is taking its toll. Both are initially nervous and need individual homes to help them build confidence.
All of these dogs are listed on our website and have been shared on this page multiple times. Please search here or visit the website for full details — and please, please share

I'm Eddie - I am looking for new, loving home, could it be you?
I'm 11 months old, full of life, love and still learning. I am a mixed breed Spaniel, Lab & Shepherd.
Eddie came to his present owners, from a home as a puppy with four children aged 2-10 where he still goes for sleepovers.
His owner feels Eddie would be best suited to a younger family.
Due to his owners poor health, they have had to make this heart breaking decision to have to rehome Eddie.
Eddie is a loving, loyal, faithful & friendly companion, who loves dogs, cats, children and everyone he meets.
He is micro chipped, registered with the vet, he has no medical problems, his last check up with the vet was July, after being neutered.
Eddie is house trained, loves being out in the garden to play, he will need an enclosed garden. He loves his toys.
Eddie loves long walks, his recall is excellent, he is good on the lead, however is very strong, he will need a strong hand and may need some more training on the lead.
Because he is so strong children would not be able to take him for walks, may pull a child over.
Eddie doesn't like being alone so he would need a stay at home human in his new family.
He is great in the car, however he needs to be fed more than an hour before a journey.
He has half a tin of Butchers Choice of a morning, with a sprinkle of grated cheese, then his dry food added, (likes most dry foods) also partial to treats.
Eddie does tend to jump up at people when first meeting them, this is only for attention, getting patted and made a fuss of.
Eddie is gentle, funny and such a loving dog, his owners states " Who ever gets him is getting a great dog, who is smart, handsome and full of love."
Eddie sleeps on his owners bed, or where ever he wants. He will steal socks and the cats food any chance he gets.
If you think Eddie would fit into your family please email [email protected] for more information.
Sorry we are unable to accept messages to the page or enquiries in comments, please email the address for any enquiries.
URGENT SENIOR IN POLK COUNTY, GA‼️‼️‼️ "My name is Romeit. My 'family' didn’t bring me here themselves‼️💔💔💔💔💔
They called the shelter … and asked if someone would come get me. So someone did. The reason they gave for not wanting me anymore - I was becoming a nuisance. And now I’m here. Alone💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
I’m a senior girl at 12 years old. My muzzle is gray. My joints are stiff💔 I’m heartworm positive because no one ever gave me the monthly pill💔I’ve lived outside for 12 years‼️‼️Through every storm‼️Every winter‼️Every hot Georgia summer.‼️
I’ve never had a bed.
I’ve never slept inside. I’ve never been told “goodnight.” 💔
I’m not angry. I’m just tired. I sit when they ask me to. I walk slow on the leash. 💔
I look at the door every time it opens. But it’s never for me.💔
I know I’m old.💔
I know what that means in a shelter.
It means people keep walking. 💔
But I still lift my head when someone passes my kennel. 💔
Because what if? What if this time, you stop? What if you see me and not just my problems?
I don’t want much.🙏💔
I want to know what carpet feels like🙏💔
I want to know what it’s like to be inside when it rains.
I want to know what it’s like to be loved … just once… before I leave this earth🙏💔💔💔💔💔💔
Please don’t let my whole life be a chain and a yard and a kennel.
Please don’t let the last thing I know be this concrete floor."💔💔
We need help for this girl right away. She's owner turn in so she automatically gets moved to the top of the euthanasia list. Please pledge and please share.🙏🙏🙏🙏

If my state pension is supposedly a benefit why am I taxed because my state pension due to my contributions exceeds the tax threshold. Benefit claimants don’t pay income tax no matter what their income is. Either state pension is tax exempt or benefits are taxable.
What are you going to do about this @ChelmsCouncil You have killed a poor innocent dog. Who is the MP for here? They need to take this up as a matter or urgency. A deaf American bulldog was killed for no reason. You have blood on your hands. Pure evil. @scanme_tukslaw who is the MP for this area?!
The proposed 2% National Insurance charge would reportedly hit pensioners with taxable income above £12,750 - around 9.6 million people - to raise roughly £2bn.
That is not a narrowly targeted levy on a tiny group of “wealthy pensioners”.
It’s a broad new tax on ordinary retirees, many of whom budget carefully around fixed incomes.
Eclipse is clean overnight & walks well on a harness. He has met and walked with a variety of dogs and seemed comfortable with them
Eclipse is looking for a home where he'll be a cherished family member & enjoy walks, hikes and adventures.
