I say, "let's see how fast we can get that seat arm raised so you can be comfortable." I mean I'm kinda cool like that. Then we approach the flight like we're in it together--which every other passenger is, too. Why on earth would you handle it any other way?
Every time I get on a plane, I feel absolutely sick to my stomach — terrified that the person sitting next to me will take a picture of me and I’ll end up being mocked on the internet.
Put your anger on the airlines for making seats smaller & smaller.

'Cos in this world of chaos and contradiction, Twitter is a haven of calm and comedic relief!
Denver PrideFest last year broke records as it welcomed half-a-million people. But despite these attendance records, barriers still exist for people with disabilities https://t.co/PhtuRDJwxz
I think today might be shameless plug day. Friendly Like Me was featured on ABC local news in Denver (channel 7) on making pride celebrations accessible. Video within the article!

Gun violence is a tragedy. But structural ableism makes the lives of those disabled by gun violence exponentially worse. The best way to help victims of gun violence is the make a more accessible world.

@FriendlyLikeMe was featured in a @Frommers article that discusses why people with access needs must make very detailed plans when they travel. Help crowdsource accessibility information & take back the hours of reconnaissance you do to intuit whether a place can accommodate you.
