We as a society should be limiting the number of electronic devices we own and use, limit the amount of time spent using these devices, and actively work towards a more minimally invasive way of learning, communicating, and entertaining! #EM2032019
I believe by actively managing the degree to which we use technology on a daily basis, the human body can better it's health at exponential rates. Understanding the impairments caused by constant exposure to the lights generated by screens is the first step to change! #EM2032019
Here is a link to my prezi on the negative effects caused by technology on the human body. The main attributes discussed are the impacts on the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and physiological health of the individual. #EM2032019 https://t.co/4xVCfLgeXY β¦
This is my infographic on the negative effects imposed on the human body as a result of accumulated technology use. The impairments caused by technology can be solved, or to the very least mitigated, by minimal changes in everyday habits. #EM2032019
@EverydayHealth this group does a great job in acknowledging various health issues, generating wide awareness on their prevalence in society. We need more social platforms like this that act as informative resources for those who may be affected or unaffected by any disarrays.
A picture showing the prevalence of technology in society; two individuals having lunch are close in proximity, however are separated by excessive electronic use habits.
The impact technology has on overall health is highly overlooked, as people would rather continue to feed their reliance on technology, than educate themselves on how the overuse of technology is truly affecting us.

EM203 has taught me a lot about learning and interacting with people throughout social media (Twitter). This is very interesting to me and I am excited and ready to learn how to apply our class theories to the real world. #em203w19
@em203kfern Hey Krystell, very nice mindmap. I like the different branches you chose to elaborate on the concept of education, however I feel you could have touched on various other topics that are more closely related to the concept of education.
@EM203SMasson Hey Sarah, great mindmap! We chose the same topic so I like how you touched on topics I missed out on. I see you went into depth explaining mental health, however did not include any of the other 5 types of health. Perhaps include these next time?
@EM203KiranBrar hey kiran, great mindmap! Simplistic and clean, making delivery of its content easily readable. It may have been more informative if perhaps you added the different forms of education and the different ways people learn?
@EM203HPOOLE I couldn't agree with you more! Learning about advancements in technology is interesting especially in today's day and age where technology is everywhere! It's cool to know where it all began from.
@msjessweber So cool! I wish I knew how to do cool stuff like that! Maybe I can find a video on youtube and learn handy dandy skills like that just like I learned the Tango! #em203W19
The first 3 weeks of #EM203W19 have been great! Learning about the digital age and the advances made in technology have allowed me to gain insight on the power networking truly has. Also super excited that I get to teach myself Tango as a part of week 3's lesson! How cool!
