The Head of the Department of Surgery at Hulhumale Hospital, Consultant in Orthopedics, Dr. Ahmed Azim, completed the Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Surgery Camp from July 16 to 19, 2025. A total of 11 surgeries were conducted, including 7 Unilateral and 2 Bilateral cases. Profoundly appreciate the contribution of everyone involved, including our doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, to making it a success.

A total of 31 students were screened at the thalassemia camp held at H.Dh. Naivaadhoo.
After reviewing a paper submitted by the Ministry of Health to the cabinet, His Excellency President Dr. @MMuizzu has approved free bone marrow transplants and expanded services for people with Thalassemia. This includes implementing Thalassemia awareness programs and enhancing testing and screening of Thalassemia in the Maldives.

“Ranthari” Children’s Evening was organized by the Child Development Center (CDC) of Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital. The evening was held as an event focused on children with special needs and disabilities.
It was supported by Departments of KRH and various stakeholders including Afeefuddin School, MNDF, Kulhudhuffushi City Police, Dhiraagu, Maldivian Red Crescent, Kulhudhuffushi Auxilliary Fire, Bulbul Therapy Center, Pluma, Kulhudhuffushi Motor Sports, Mithuru Pvt Ltd and Lizzy Mart.
