When you realise how many ways things could have gone wrong in the course of this ordeal, you just have to doff your hat to Fisayo. This is courageous journalism of the highest order. 👏

Now that I’m done with this Obstetrics house job rotation, I can finally say this:
I hated every single second of it.
Every. Single. Second.
The practically living in the hospital. The VEs. The epis repairs. God, I hated every single minute.
I had this liquor stench that just wouldn’t leave, no matter how many times I bathed or how much perfume I used.
I stopped running. Stopped going to the gym. Started stress eating again. Gained 12 kg. Started snoring again.
I’m a fucking athlete and my BP hit 170/110 mmHg after one crazy 50-hour shift.
And because they were having issues paying me, I had to work two other jobs, squeezing in 8 hours every day INSIDE my shifts, just to attend to customers, write code and meet deadlines.
Did I mention I fainted in the theatre once from exhaustion?
I genuinely don’t know how I survived the last 3 months.
But somehow, I did.
I know I’ll be a better doctor for it. I learned a lot. I saw things I probably needed to see. I got pushed in ways I didn’t know I could be pushed.
But I still hated every single second of it.
And now that it’s finally over, I think I’m allowed to say that. 🙂
Our leaders, both the living and the dead, are all Eeleribu.
Nigeria has never been good or gotten better in any way. The country's recklessness, wickedness, failures, and various problems are becoming glaring to the majority of its citizens - thanks to the internet and smartphones, which are spreading awareness and information.
I lost my father to medical negligence at a hospital in 2004.
I had to provide and carry my own reading table and chair for almost all of my primary and secondary education in public schools. Today, the government cannot publicly and boldly tell pupils to bring their own furniture to school, which explains why so many students end up sitting on bare classroom floors.
They failed to provide electricity for everyone and instead resorted to creating Band A, B, C... down to Z. My grandparents shouted "Up NEPA!" Today, I shout "Up NEPA!" with my children. Tomorrow, my children will likely shout "Up NEPA!" with theirs.
The majority of our foodstuffs are still processed and sold on the bare ground by the roadside.
All of our standards - including manufacturing, production, construction, and skilled labor have deteriorated over the years. Bricklayers build substandard structures, tilers do sloppy work, and many others follow suit. For instance, many times I have bought a pack of TomTom only to find empty or near-empty sachets inside.
Prices of goods have skyrocketed by 500% to 1000%, while quality and quantity have dropped by as much as 80%.
Fake drugs, appliances, spare parts, food, drinks and ALL - counterfeits have invaded every sector.
They rigged elections before 1999, and today they are still rigging elections.
We have never had a true government in Nigeria, only propaganda.
I created an AI Smart Glass to help blind people walk without a cane or a guide 👓
But this is not like the smart glasses people are used to seeing
Because this Glass combines AI, sensors, and GPS to help the user detect things in front of them, avoid obstacles, and know their location
But the most amazing thing is if the user gets lost, the GPS tracking system can help locate where they are from anywhere, and then send the location to the phone of the person taking care of them via WhatsApp or Email 📲
And now I am further developing it to a new level of AI + Voice, so it can speak with the user and also help them understand their surroundings
I have put the video showing how it works completely in the comment. 🎥

Let the world see what a young Nigerian can build
Another day, another massacre of northern lives with zero outrage on the media. A regular day in Northern Nigeria under Tinubu meanwhile the top voices in the North have been turned to political slaves by the very people who have failed to secure these innocent lives. Sayaya community in Matazu, Katsina State.
Bandits kidnapped a medical doctor. They tied him up, set up fire, grabbed his hand and put it inside the burning fire. Everyday, they burn a portion of his hand while he watched & screamed of severe pain. They kept burning the hand daily until they reached his shoulder. They then collected 15 million naira ransom and still killed him. These are the animals government wants to forgive & reward with free houses.
I dream of becoming a great inventor like Elon Musk
I’ve already started. From my room, I built my company where I create security systems, fire detection, attendance systems, and more.
I’m only 19… I need your support to push this to the world 🙌🏻🤝❤️
