@BarackObama The definition of "Peacefully Protest" must have changed Significantly. Unless of course, you're willing to consider Jan 6th a wonderful sunday afternoon.
@The_Aveees
The 2nd Amendment was never designed for hunting. Hunting was an action taken to simply survive and required no permission to do so. The 2nd Amendment, clearly defined and explained by the text, history and tradition of these United States; is for her citizenry to be armed and protect this nation, and those around us against all enemies foreign and domestic.
If you're going to claim that "Shotguns aren't meant to kill people like 'assalt' weapons are" ... you, my friend need to take a trip down history lane starting with the first world war.
There is no such thing as an "Assault Weapon", just inanimate objective that evil people use to assault innocence with.
@DrRitaDed
Can you explain to me why you need hammers, vehicles, baseball bats and a whole host of other inanimate objects which statistically take more lives in the hands of evil people ... when an AR-15 used as the tool to carry out an evil act is less than the above inanimate objects?

The intellectual bankruptcy displayed in your post is unfathomably astounding. If I were you, I would at least make an attempt to learn about the topic at hand before posting one of the most inaccurate, ignorant and downright idiotic series of "questions" I've seen (regarding firearms) in a long time.
Why do I "need" an AR-15? Because as a Father it is my duty and responsibility to protect my family from all enemies foreign and domestic. I can't do this adequately or efficiently if I can't be armed, at least to the level of my potential or would be attacker. As an American, it is my right as a citizen to own, keep and maintain arms as per the Constitution, and Bill of Rights of these United States. It is inherent in all men to protect those we love.
I'm not even going to address your insatiable ignorance of firearms, magazines and ammunition here.
I don't need an "AR-15" for hunting, that however isn't what they're for. (although they can be used for hunting).
Once you "ban all guns", the examples of tyrannical rule throughout history are quite clear. 100s of millions dead at the behest of "your safety" ... one of the greatest paradoxes of our time.
@SenSchumer but ... but ... if I remember correctly (and I always do) it was @SpeakerPelosi that said, "We need to pass the bill to find out what's in it"
