Reviewing a book draft and remembering what @martinfowler told us when we were writing #eip:
Writing a book, whenever you think you're almost done, that's when the real work starts.
A Bounded Context is not a purely logical (language consistency, unity of purpose) or physical (code separation, deployment unit) concept. It's an obligation to maintain integrity between those views. #DDDesign
In your system you should have 3 types of events:
1. Private, domain events (sth important occured in your domain)
2. Private, persisted events (based on 1, for later async processing)
3. Public, integration events (based on 2, to integrate with another contexts, part of contract)
One problem with "mostly right" takes on my dissertation is when they see the trees but not the forest. REST isn't about APIs; it's about system interaction for network-based apps. But the constraints were also designed to induce a uniform network-based API (URI+HTTP+HTML+etc).
Thank you so much for the overwhelmingly warm response to the news about the coupling book! I'm doing to best I can to get it to printers asap :) #BalancingCoupling

Happy that our paper on a move operation for CRDT trees has finally been accepted by IEEE TPDS! We've spent over two years trying to get this thing published, eventually successful on the sixth submission… https://t.co/sFQgNaF8cq
I have given at least a dozen interviews for podcasts over the years, and three interviews just this summer. Here's a list if you want to listen to any of them https://t.co/0wLeLxuai1
