No more parking on Dallas Road next to Ross Bay.
It just got a lot harder to enjoy free public spaces.
Another 15-minute city layer put in place by the council you voted in.

@jeremymackenzie I wish I could believe you. Cape Breton federally seated the NDP or the Liberals over the past couple of decades.
The few and worthy will protest but it will amount to nothing I fear...
When I ran for Council the dvba would not even meet with me. And I had a business-friendly platform. It's time we let business owners within the Victoria municipality the right to vote in municipal elections.
I’m still gobsmacked that just under HALF of the businesses in downtown Victoria have told the DVBA they’d consider shutting down in the next year if their leases were up.
Has the NDP even acknowledged this yet?
Does Victoria even have any MLAs at the moment? What is more important than this?

Same party. Same people. Fourth Liberal term. Same trajectory.
Expect:
1. even less GDP per capita (income per household) 👇
2. Mass migration ☝️
3. Housing costs☝️
4. Doctor shortage☝️
5. Carbon tax ☝️
6. Unemployment ☝️
7. Cost of living ☝️
More of the same
@profbenperrin@CPC_HQ Missing the point. Ten years of mass immigration and catch and release are the legacy of Liberal-NDP policies.
This is on the ballot today.
So, yeah, perfectly fair.
Informed Consent case law has ruled that personal choice on what is ingested/injected is sacrosanct.
Even if consent is given but it's proved that the patient was misinformed, the party pushing for treatment can be found liable.
Courts have already been dealt with this
Personal beliefs do not supersede the public good - and #vaccination is a public good. Why do we have 'religious and philosophical' exemptions for vaccines, a policy that harms children? by @picardonhealth https://t.co/9vSRfPrpWP @GlobeDebate#measles#bioethics
Perhaps the most stunningly tone deaf piece I've seen recently. Informed Consent case law LITERALLY entrenches an individual's choice on what they ingest/inject is sacrosanct.
And even if they consent but we're misinformed, the party pushing a treatment is liable. SMH GandM!
@CTVNews After seeing my fellow Canadians bend the knee to our misbehaving socialist politicians here at home, I don't think they have the back bone to be insurgents unfortunately.
@TristinHopper I'm 50. A Gen Xer. We are the largest conservative voting block. It's Boomers (60+) that are cringing out. They are hell bent on securing their pensions and status quo. No other generation in North America has had it as good financially as them. They are out of touch.
Again, I don't want to oversimplify, but ...
CANADIAN VOTER UNDER 40: "Maybe if this election changes the status quo I'll be able to afford having a child before I die alone in a rental unit somewhere."
CANADIAN VOTER OVER 40: "Elbows up."
I’m not a Canadian so maybe I’m missing something. Help me understand. Has Carney ever been elected to Parliament or any other political office? Where has he lived for the last ten years? What was his job? Does he really care about Canada or was he sent in to accomplish what Trudeau couldn’t for the World Economic Forum? If so, how will it benefit Canada to surrender its sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats of the World Economic Forum? Doesn’t sound very Gordie Howe to me. Canada is Canada. Not a vassal state of the US and not a vassal state of the WEF. Elbows up to both, folks.
Carney was a Trudeau advisor from 2020 onward. If he had something to say why didn't he do it then? Freeland was the architect of the last 9 years? Carney is godfather to her son. If you vote Liberal, you will bring in the same crew we've had all along.
This afternoon, I joined Prime Minister @MarkJCarney, Minister @DLeBlancNB and the Premiers to discuss how we can work together to build an economy that works for all Canadians. 🇨🇦
Verbal sleight of hand. Government is not in session so nothing has been canceled. Carney has just brought the tax down to zero temporarily. Do you trust the man that's been advising Trudeau for the past 5 years regarding carbon taxes? This is an IQ test
The world is shifting, and Canada needs to be ready. The consumer carbon tax was too divisive when we should be pulling together. That’s why I took action to cancel it on day one.
