am reaching out on the situation involving the 7 Officers and 4 airmen of the Nigerian Air Force who have been detained alongside their Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft since Monday in Barkina Faso
As you may know, the aircraft was on a ferry mission to Portugal when it developed a technical issue shortly after takeoff from Lagos, prompting a precautionary landing in Burkina Faso
Contrary to reports from the government claiming that the crew had been released on Tuesday to continue their journey, the team is still being held by Burkina Faso authorities. This is largely because the federal government has not yet reached out officially to clarify their mission.
The officers and airmen detained have no contact their families or any updates from the NAF and FG.
All that is required at this point is for the Federal Government to formally communicate with the Burkinabe authorities to confirm that the crew was on an authorized mission to Portugal and had no involvement whatsoever in the Benin air operations.
We are seeking suppoet to raise awareness and hold the government accountable so that prompt action is taken.
The earlier reports about their release by NAF is false they are still detained.
I am happy to provide further updates.

This is really terrible 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️.
Mr. Governor @DapoAbiodunCON and Madam deputy @NoimotOyedele , it is important you both work with key stakeholders, prioritize some of these roads and get them fixed🤦🏽♂️.
This is an eyesore 🤦🏽♂️
Dear Governor @DapoAbiodunCON ,
When you needed the ticket, you lobbied.
When you needed our votes, you promised.
Now that it’s time to deliver, you’re saying “it’s a federal road”?
Respectfully, that’s cowardice. You had 6 good years 🤌🏽, but nothing to show for it other than YearPot🤌🏽

PUBLIC DECLARATION TO THE GOVERNOR OF OGUN STATE AND HIS ADMINISTRATION❗️❗️❗️
Governor Abiodun @DapoAbiodunCON , your tenure now spans six years, six years in which the people entrusted you with responsibility, resources and a mandate to serve. Yet today we find ourselves trapped in a cycle of decay, roads that devour time, drain dignity and endanger lives, promises made with bold headlines, but delivered with thin air.
This is not simply a complaint. This is a credential of accountability. Your office is not ornamental. It is not ceremonial. You were elected to govern, to fix, and to deliver. On each of those counts, you have fallen short.
To the miscreants who monitor my space to protect optics rather than performance, know this, I am ready for you. Your spin teams, your paid defenders, your social media cavalry, they are known. Silence has been my choice out of respect, not incapacity. But I will no longer ignore the facade of activity while the ground reality remains unchanged.
If you cannot confront what must be confronted, roads collapsing, livelihoods eroding, communities abandoned, then you lack the competence that your title demands.
Therefore:
Either act with urgency, transparency and integrity, or resign and let someone capable assume the mantle.
Your legacy will not be shaped by press releases. It will be defined by the road beneath every citizen’s feet, the schools that function, and the services delivered when due. Every day you fail, you deepen the shame not just upon yourself, but upon the party you represent and the trust placed in you by the people of Ogun State.
We are not asking. We are demanding. We will deploy our voice, our platform, our energy until real change takes root. This is the time of accountability. The era of excuses is over.
Take your place responsibly, or step out of the way. Ogun people are watching. History is watching.
And we will not stop until the transformation begins.
I WILL NOT STOP❗️
#DapoFixOgunRoads
Ogun State LG chairmen are nothing but figureheads❗️❗️❗️
Their idea of “impact” is sharing notebooks and branded pens.
Where are the roads? Where are the health centers? Where is the work?
Can you not see Lagos?❗️
#DapoFixOgunRoads
Mr. Governor @DapoAbiodunCON and Madam Deputy @NoimotOyedele ,
I promise you, you will feel the pressure, the same pressure we feel daily just trying to survive.
This is not politics.
This is accountability.
And if you think we will stop, you’ve underestimated how angry, awake, and united the people are.
Fix the roads. Serve the people. Or face the revolt of voices you can’t silence.
We will not stop. Until you start.

Any normal human being would develop mental issues if they had to go through those bad roads daily. The government should do the needful and fix Ogun roads without seeking shortcuts. They are deplorable and it is negatively impacting the lives of the people. ⚕️🚧
It’s a crying shame how the people of Ogun State are being treated by their leaders.
I was there yesterday again and had to give the car to the mechanic for the rest of the month just after two visits to Ota. Nobody can invalidate the people’s reality.
The Governor should be honorable and humble enough to retract his statement and do right by the people. 😞🚧⚕️
The living condition of the people of Ogun State is crazily alarming. No human being should have to live this way in 2025. If you haven’t seen or experienced it, you will never believe it.
The State Government must urgently pay attention and resources towards improving basic living standards (ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE, health, housing) instead of prioritizing projects that don’t meet the real needs of everyday citizens.
Don’t let your voice be silenced by well-oiled PR machines on sparse developments when you are suffering from infrastructural defects and slow construction work. Speak out and hold your governors accountable. Alliances are as strong as the amount of truth they can bear.
Our Governor, HE @DapoAbiodunCON, while we commend your efforts on the few roads featured in the PR ads and the successful establishment of the airport, please declare a state of emergency on Ogun State (alleged federal) roads. The reality of the residents and indigenes is at variance with the marketed utopia.
No one visits Ota without spending a fortune on car repairs and maintenance due to the bad roads. There are formidable industries along the Idi-Iroko axis of Ota (Honda, Indomie, etc), as well as top universities, yet the road is worse than that found in war-torn countries.
We need the same PR energy for facilitating construction work on the woeful state of Ogun roads. 🚧
