@CarterByrd13 They are morons and always pick the lesser school. I’ve had tons of people try to put down on my education bc I have a degree from LSU, uh check the other one. You have a degree from northwestern, I think you’re alright in the education box.
@NoahB77_@11point7 The kids at these small schools do not care if their arm falls off if it means winning. They are not making it in pro ball, the entire arm health argument doesn’t really matter to the guy at UALR who will be a project manager or accountant in a year.
@id6klub@claymal@DavidPurdum The way it’s worded is misleading. This is a much better way to look at it. He’s not going to have put anywhere near that amount in his(friends and families) accounts
@DavidPurdum Hello, as a dabbler here would point out $90K wagering probably makes it sound way worse if he was doing frequent small bets.
That'd be like losing $50 on blackjack after starting with $500. But you bet $25/hand and played 50 rounds that night.
Technically, you "wagered" $1,250
@NateVilla23 @CodyC64@GregSankey Right because he can push things through legislation….oh wait no he can’t, I think we learned that in 3rd grade civics
@DougPinkston2@SnobbyScheffler I agree. There isn’t a reason for a group of 10+s to be playing it anything other than lateral but they do need to realize that’s not the real rules of golf imo.
@DougPinkston2@SnobbyScheffler That games rule is none but I still see some that are putted to inside a foot knocked back every once in a while. My main smaller group I play with generally doesn’t take them but we are all decent and play some tournaments so it makes sense. Rando game I take what they give me.
@tomcuzzins@leftyzag@DallasDon897@GrantHorvatGolf I’ll play by their rules if I’m in their game but there is zero chance I’m posting that round if I hit a ball OB and played it lateral or if I played any of the questionable drops they’ll take.
