Thank you. Thank you.
The votes are now counted & I will be sworn in as Delegate in the General Assembly on Jan 11. It has been my dream to serve the people of MD in public office for as long as I can remember & I cannot begin to thank you enough for helping to make this happen.
Proud to partner with my friend @Embry4Delegate to push back against the outrageous bills from BGE. Our message to this monopoly could not be more clear: Do NOT pass GO. Do Not Collect $200.
We will continue to fight for Baltimore 💪

New analysis finds BGE’s multi-billion dollar gas pipeline replacement program may be slowing the work to repair or replace the riskiest pipes.
A 2025 law could result in major changes to stop wasteful spending & require BGE to prioritize safety. More: https://t.co/xKAoITET57
This week the @citydelegation & the City Council brought that #BigCTPEnergy to the MDOT CTP Tour! 🎉🚉🚍
For it to be Maryland's moment, it must be Baltimore’s time. We must implement the BMORE Bus plan & build the Redline now!

Today I had the opportunity to join @GovWesMoore and DPSCS Secretary Carolyn Scruggs for an eye-opening simulation experience, illustrating the reentry challenges that individuals face following incarceration. I had the distinct pleasure of being “Jamal” - a two time, formerly incarcerated individual, out on parole for a double murder.
The most frustrating part of the simulation was the roadblocks that continued to stand in the way of my successful return to society, something witnessed by almost everyone participating in this exercise. I want to commend Sec. Scruggs and her staff for putting together an excellent program that really highlighted the barriers formerly incarcerated offenders face when trying to obtain housing, employment, fair wages and services necessary to successfully reintegrate into the community.
Do you or your organization have an upcoming community meeting? Delegate Embry would like to join you! To inform us of where and when you will meet, please email [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you!
Today we joined @Zeke_Cohen to deliver petitions to BGE and @MarylandPSC asking them to end BGE’s wasteful spending and stop the relentless rate hikes. Unfortunately BGE refused to accept the petitions.
Applications are officially open for the BGE Customer Relief Fund—a vital initiative made possible by a one-time charitable donation from Exelon, BGE’s parent company, to the United Way of Central Maryland. Customers can apply by visiting https://t.co/a6PgSDYSs3
The LIHEAP program is a lifeline for US households serving almost 6 million homes/providing $6.2 billion of support. W/o LIHEAP, families face issues due to the inability to access heat in the winter, cooling in the summer, power essential medical devices throughout the year.
The Humane World Action Fund fights for political and policy change to tackle the root causes of animal cruelty and suffering. I’m proud to have received a 100% scorecard from this important organization.
Thank you, @md_state_bar, for inviting me to speak on the panel this morning at the MSBA Legal Summit. It was a wonderful opportunity to join my fellow delegates and discuss the progress made during the 2025 MGA legislative session.

The allocation was part of a floor amendment to the state’s capital budget. Del. Mark Edelson, a Baltimore Democrat, said he and the rest of the Baltimore delegation fought for it because they “believe this project deserves that level of priority.” https://t.co/7gdCgHUu60
