A pretty special day today - I passed my PhD viva, and now I'm a Dr! It's been a great four years studying Great Black-backed Gulls, and I'm already looking forward to a lot more seabird adventures.
Not sure if anyone still uses Twitter these days(!), but I want to get the word out that I will soon be hiring 2 postdocs (and recruiting PhD students) to join me at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. All things ocean, carbon, and climate. (1/2)
It may be #PSL season for Starbucks, but in the southern hemisphere we're just entering Spring--stay tuned as the @bgc_argo @SOCCOMProject floats that have been stuck under sea ice emerge in the coming months!
