Australian Army physiotherapist and staff officer at the Human Performance Cell in FORCOMD, mother, runner, baker and lover of sleep. Views are my own.
More than a decade and a half since signing up, still loving all the opportunities Army has provided me.

@covetweet Great article, just left Army HQ working in capability management of Human Performance. The barriers to innovation (or just much needed change) often came from individual interpretation of policy. So much potential to innovate in HP!

#DunningKruger as I complete an assignment that sees me halfway through a Masters of Applied Clinical Epidemiology in Sports this statement rings so true. Performance and Health r/ship is more complex than is acknowledged 🏋🏻♀️🥗😴
Expressing doubt doesn't always mean you lack confidence. It might be that you see nuance.
The presence of certainty can signal the absence of complexity. Conviction can crowd out careful consideration.
The person who talks tentatively has often done the deepest reflection.
@Nick_Alexander4 Agree there is poor management from clinicians out there, but another factor is the expectations of treatment. patients equate physio with manual therapy/passive treatments. We need to educate both clinicians and patients on what high value care looks like 🏋🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️🤾♀️@tonibushby
