@MadridSports_ So many people in our fanbase seem to forget that it was Jose Mourinho who was responsible for Dean Huijsen’s step up into senior football, at Roma in 2024. He even said after Dean’s first start at Roma that he is “one of the biggest prospects in football”.
@thebottomcorna Real Madrid do not need to sell to buy players, not even at fees like €150m on Olise. Madrid could easily spend €300m this summer without putting their finances under any serious strain.
“Safe to assume”, but wrong.
@sizzlingmomin@sidlowe Look, Sid has a pro-Barça bias. He even tried to claim the other day that there was only 1 season in which Cristiano was player of the year.
He’d never admit it.
But it’s fine. Other than that one flaw, his analysis is consistently solid and interesting.
@theMadridZone We need a new LB, a new CB, and a tempo-setter in midfield. Not this. But this is all for show anyway. Bayern aren’t selling Olise. Florentino knows this and he’s just stringing the socios along until he wins the election. The bid will fail; he’ll say “I tried”.
@MHassanFootball@managingmadrid On another “attacking” player, when what we need is a tempo-controlling midfielder.
Also - why announce it on Tuesday? Do it now. Smells fishy.
