66 years on the farm and Alhaji Umaru Fuloti is still planting.

In Zamfara, farming has been his life's work. It fed his family and kept him going. But as fertilizer became harder to afford, every planting season became a struggle.

The fertilizer support from His Excellency, Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, gave him another chance at a stronger harvest. And across Zamfara, many other farmers received that same support.

The traders of Marafa always had the drive. What they lacked was the bigger capital to grow.

Then came the intervention from His Excellency, real capital not loans. Some traders received as much as ten million naira.

Now their trade reaches further. They buy rice and maize here, bag it, and move it to the mills all around the country, boosting trade between states and feeding the wider economy.

This is what real growth looks like: put capital in the hands of the people doing the work, and it lifts everyone.
