As a chartered AC, if the job JD requires budget and Mgt accounts Preparation, and you already grounded in adjusting entries, you should put it in your CV. Because the difference between experience and theoretical is a coy template and some hours of technical research.

@AjiboyeWale What most of us do not factor into our analysis is the impatient of the average Nigerian. Most inter state transport are still being run with Siena car despite how expensive petrol is currently. Most lagos traffic are one way and that won't be profitable for any business.
@Efyakimora Nigerians must clock as the most unpatriotic citizens in the world. They’d even travel to Lybia, Pakistan, SouthAfrica, and Afghanistan just because they hate their country and still beg the same governnebt to rescue them from those shit hole countries!
@_aaadedapo Some idiots even send money to Nigeria from UK to benefit from form M rate. Very idiotic policy of subsiding foreign education with our forex reserve.
Yesterday Tekno trying to gaslight Fela
Today Francis Duru___ What happened to them? Why so much envy??
Yorubas are not opposite of Igbos now! We are not even neighbors; Why so much comparison???
@Ryukido_Sennin@folasanwo The major reason why you're paid less is because Government is the average higher payer in the health sector. HMO has come to help the private hospital to match up with Government but you're here angry about the solution.
I think we've spent too much energy on describing how big a billion is. Let's now focus on how small a billion really is.
If you had a billion dollars and you wanted to feed every starving child, you'd be able to do that once.
Literally just one meal and your entire billion dollars is gone.
How about housing homeless people? In the US alone, there's about 750k of them, with one billion, you'll house like 2000 of them. That's one in 375, less than 0.5%.
What about roads? Maybe you want to go to poor countries and build roads?
Well your billion dollars builds about 2000km of roads, that sounds like a lot, until you realise the poor country you're trying to help has like 150,000km of roads and your contribution is like 0.8% of the road network and it vanishes in like 5 years because there's no maintenance.
What about a powerplant then? Don't even get me started, you can't even build a proper coal plant with that kind of money. Say you did solar and renewables instead, you'll be able to power like 300k homes. Again, sounds large, but there's literally billions of people on the world, hundreds of millions in many countries. Your billion vanishes into thin air.
1 billion dollars is a lot of money for a single person, but it's a drop in the bucket for mass spending. This is why governments spend dozens to hundreds to even thousands of billions every year and even they struggle to get anything done at scale.
To everyone with a voice, a platform, an audience, influence, or attention, this message is for you.
In the past few weeks, we've watched many use their platforms, not to inform, but to amplify panic, spread false narratives, and fuel division. We've seen tribal sentiments stoked, hate speech normalized, and every matter politicized.
It's time to pause, reflect, and rethink the power of your voice. Your words shape perceptions. Your posts influence emotions, and your narratives can either heal or destroy.
Let's choose responsibility over clout, truth over sensationalism, and unity over division.
