A4: One aspect is not knowing the teacher well enough to participate in class. Again, making sure that we create positive relationships with our students by creating an open, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. #USQchat

A3: Getting to know your students on a personal level to some degree is essential. All of my favorite professors and teachers shared personal aspects of their lives with me that made me connect with them in other ways. Building trust and comfortability is key! #USQchat

@sewilkie My major it called Historical Studies where I am becoming certified in teaching ED in grades 7-12. I also am getting a degree in Political Science and Geography. Basically a multi-part major! #USQchat

A2: One of the most powerful stories I remember is when in 12th grade, I was able to changer the final essay topic to our won choices rather than a topic given to me. I was able to write on Climate Change, which opened me up to the major I am now studying. #USQchat

A1: As a student, I believe that the idea of autonomy should play a role to an extent. Especially with the growing trend of technology, students should have an option is how they complete work and present it as well #USQchat
