I am collecting diagnoses like some people collect craft supplies. Today's cost was $177 and I was informed I need a protein supplement. Please share/donate. https://t.co/Q5UhSfWhLw
I was out of cell service this weekend and got news of Lindsey Graham’s death late. Definitely shocking. And more upheaval in our politics just when we think it can’t get any more chaotic. And naming his sister who has no relevant experience to be his replacement (in a time of war) underscores all that is wrong with politics in America.
I met Graham a few times when I worked on the hill doing vets advocacy—and mostly when he was alongside McCain. We don’t have a personal relationship.
He voted to send me to war. And in the early days of the Iraq war, he was notably one of few members of Congress still in the Reserves. And the only in the Senate. That always left me hoping he’d get it more than most—and fight hardest for vets benefits and VA reform. And unfortunately, he’d often disappoint. Including voting against the Post-9/11 GI Bill in 2008.
In later years, he’d continue to disappoint with his hawkishly stubborn stances on Iraq and Afghanistan and total comprise into Trumpland. Few have more importantly and consistently enabled Trump. And his death is politically a huge loss for Trump.
But Graham did stand with Ukraine. And especially and importantly in the last few months. And maybe that can be the opportunity for a cause he cared about—as America and the world process his passing and what comes next.
His Russia sanctions bill is good, important and long overdue. For Ukraine—and for America. It should be named in his honor and passed ASAP. It’s one way to honor maybe the best and most timely part of Graham’s legacy—and more urgently, move forward world and national security and the global fight for freedom. Which continues always. And especially this summer.

I am 1/2 way to getting my diabetes meds (hormone based insulin resistance type 2 diabetes = GLP-1). This is my top priority before paying the rest of the medical bills. Thursday marks the fifth dose I miss. Please help by donating & sharing.

We must stop tinkering around the edges of a broken healthcare system.
Yes, let's extend the ACA tax credits to prevent a huge spike in healthcare costs for millions. Then, let's finally create a system that puts your health over corporate profits.
We need Medicare for All.

Stores are also blocked from fixing billing issues & you’re stuck with calling 611 or the AI chat bot hell. Calling 611 leaves you with long hold times resulting in registering for callbacks from a rep who only knows how to read the scripts in front of them. #FuckOutsourcing
Just an fyi for those who might not be aware. AT&T charges your credit card 9 days before the billing date on autopay. It’s 2 days for debit cards. There’s no notification of this discrepancy on the site when you change your autopay settings @ATT@FTC @CFPB

If you've been to a convention, especially one of the PAXs, you've probably encountered or at least heard about The AFK Room. It's a quiet space where congoers can retreat to when things get overwhelming. One of the major providers and curators of that space, as well as countless other mental health efforts, @TakeThisOrg, needs our help.
