On May 8, the WLSD will have an extremely important emergency levy on the ballot. This page is owned and run by WHS students Austin Hindley and Lana Norris.
These documents are extremely enlightening on what the district is facing. The best way to help save what we know as Woodridge is to vote on May 8th. #issue5
Thank you to all who got out and voted for the levy. I know how much you care about Woodridge schools. Sometimes these battles go on a little longer to help us learn something about ourselves. Keep talking about the importance of education and all the programs that go with it.
Tomorrow is Election Day so please go out and vote for the critical emergency levy that is on the ballot. I can’t express the importance of this levy enough. The fate of Woodridge is in the hands of you, the voters, so spread the word and do your part to save our school. #issue5

May 8th Voting is getting very close. Please make sure to get info on the importance of the levy @emergencylevy and make plans on when you will go to the voting booth. Our kids need your vote.
Election Day is one week away. Be sure to look AND vote FOR Issue 5 on the back of the ballot! Good to see the positive energy supporting this effort while recognizing the additional work needed to press for State funding changes, and relief for our property owners. #PromisesKept
@pastor_georgia There are some staff members that will be let go. It is unfortunate but sadly unavoidable. Those staff members have a right to privacy on the matter so I will not disclose any names. If the upcoming levy does not pass more cuts will sadly have to be made.
These chats are a great way to address any concerns that you may have about the upcoming levy. I encourage everyone that can, to try and attend at least one of these chats. #issue5 https://t.co/JNFHPAvc4j
If anyone has any questions about the upcoming levy there will be a meeting at Northampton town hall at 7:00 tonight. This is a great way to learn more about the levy and address any concerns that you have about the levy. #issue5
Everyone that feels they don’t have time to vote on May 8, please fill out an absentee ballot request form online. You will receive an absentee ballot in the mail and you can fill it out in only a few minutes. Everyone has a voice so stand up for what you believe in. #issue5
If this levy fails Woodridge will have to make $5.6 million in cuts. The Ohio Department of Education would then place the district into fiscal emergency. #issue5
