@OurWorldInData There are many negative implications of aquaculture on wild populations (waste, cross-breeding, disease etc), not to mention the terrible conditions for farmed fish. Aquaculture is not the solution. We need to eat less (preferably zero) seafood.
@grist The need for public funding in this space is real but the returns for society would be immense, across emissions, land use, water use, public health and of course animal suffering.
