@PinguCapital I agree. In fact I will bet rents will start to fall within 6 months due to demand destruction. Young people can't afford rent and are moving back with parents or sharing. International students will struggle with cost of living and start to move back to their country of origin.

@PinguCapital Also the proposal doesn't take into account the honey pot principle. They attract you into other assets (primary residence and super) and once they have you there they change the rules and tax you.

@bowtiedstocks Charge rates are at their peak for tradies. Brings more competition into this area and eventually leads to lower charge rates to keep tradies employed / contracted. Its actually happening now. We get a deflationary cycle before they pump it up again. Things revert to the mean.
