It made me realise how unprepared I and my fellow corporate commuters are when it comes to giving first aid.
I’m going to look into some proper training so I feel more confident in future. I personally think it should be on the national curriculum…
This morning I pulled the emergency alarm on the tube at Mornington Crescent; poor lady was having some sort of seizure.
Thankfully, the train halted at the station, allowing us to call out for any medics on board the tube who could then tend to her.
Really hope she’s okay 🤞
@Ocado@sainsburys Oh-cado, that would be so kind 🥔✨
After all, my sister @jessicaasims does feature on your vans…🛒 We’re starting to get a bit of a name for ourselves, don’t you think Jess?!
Hi @Sainsburys - I was very disappointed with the quality of the baking potatoes that arrived in my online order today; they are incredibly small to be baking potatoes and are also very poor quality it seems, and not at all like the ones I’ve ordered from you before 🥔☹️
@Turneeps5 It’s all contained now thankfully, though I’m slightly concerned about the resident of the flat where the incident (bathroom fire) happened; I spoke to her briefly but she was in great distress and ran off shortly before the fire engines arrived. Just hope she’s okay! 😕
Greatly enjoyed this article @Refinery29 👏👇
Kudos to @TheGutStuff for raising awareness of what is actually a very important and normal issue 💩

Hey @Pret, when are you bringing back your carrot juices? 🥕
They were the best. I miss them 💔
Yours,
Possibly-the-only-person-in-the-country-who-ever-purchased-your-carrot-juice.
My history degree taught me everything from how to construct a winning argument, to how to navigate nearly every dinner party conversation.
Saying ‘history is protected at the top Russell Group universities’ is a ‘dangerous route to go down’, as @KateWilliamsme aptly puts 💭
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” 💬
In the era of disinformation, surely being trained to analyse subjectivity is something we need more - not less - of? It would be a tragedy if history became only a degree for the elite.

First day complete! (working from home in my slippers, naturally 💁♀️)
Delighted to have joined @Unilever’s Global Corporate Affairs & Communications team this week.
Here’s to my new @Marmite-fuelled adventure 🚀
(can confirm the limited edition chilli packs a good punch 🌶🥊)
For those of you interested in the role of tech and improving safety post-Covid, I encourage you to sign up to @safeandthecity’s #BuildBackSafer event, taking place this Friday.

The news around #SarahEverard’s disappearance is absolutely tragic 💔
I’ve been really troubled by the story since it broke. So many of us - particularly women - have been reliving the millions of times we’ve walked home at night & perhaps taken our safety for granted.
With crime soon expected to increase to pre-pandemic levels, it’s so important that we invest in preventative solutions to ensure the safety of girls and women - like Sarah - in the future.
Finally got round to watching the #RBG documentary on @netflix (made in 2017, three years before her death) and I’d highly recommend.
What an inspiration ✨
