@Alphafox78 So sad!! We are all on journeys. Some journeys are just ridiculously hard, and even the toughest men can crumble; that is why we need Someone much stronger to intervene. He intervenes mainly via His body. Come on, church! We will need to give an account to Him one day!
As I sit down with Scrum Masters during interviews, my heart goes out to them. These are people I deeply care about, and I find myself wanting to wrap them in a warm embrace and guide them gently toward a truth I hold dear: Agile isn’t about flashy methodologies or rigid practices—it’s about caring for our clients and the teams who serve them. I’ve witnessed too many transformations stumble, not because the “doing” of Agile was off, but because the “being” of Agile—the heart of it—was overlooked.
Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches are our frontline champions in organizations, entrusted to lead with clarity and purpose. But when they’re unsure of their own roles, even the most well-intentioned companies can veer off course, with painful consequences. My heart aches for those who’ve been swept up by vendors peddling oversized Agile frameworks or companies chasing productivity through checklists, missing the soul of it all. Scrum doesn’t stand alone—it thrives on the spirit of Agile.
Sometimes, these interviews turn into impromptu coaching moments, fueled by a quiet hope that I can light a spark for even one person. The need out there is immense, and while there aren’t enough compassionate Agilists to shift the tide entirely, I believe every small nudge toward caring, client-focused Agile can ripple outward. Together, we can steer this ship toward something better.
New Bill: 80% of Private property must be Expropriated to "reflect racial demographics" in SA
The new Equitable Access to Land Bill was proposed to parliament yesterday. It aims to redistribute land ownership to better reflect the country’s demographics, using race as a primary criterion. This will work in tandem with the recently signed Expropriation Act 13 of 2025 by providing a legal framework to redistribute land ownership along racial lines, while the Expropriation Act serves as the mechanism for acquiring land deemed necessary for redistribution. In essence, the Expropriation act provides for Zero, or nil, compensation in the case of public interest. This bill clearly defines public interest as racial representation.
