Been running the same BFCM playbook for 5 years and it prints every time
Most of you will spend end of October making some BFCM concepts from scratch, add some messaging on site and let it rip
That’s half the play
Here’s what I do on every brand
Creative:
- New concept built around the offer. Statics, short text-led offer video ads, etc. Quick to make and you want volume on them.
- Pull every winning ad from the last 12 months, even if they died out months ago. Don’t touch the ad, keep everything the same. But add a sticky BFCM banner across the top or a sticker on top right hand corner. Stays on for the full video. Relaunch all of them, these are your surf scaler TOF ads + put banner on new concepts
Site:
- BF copy/offer goes live first week of November, we went live 2nd nov last year. If competitors start shifting earlier - we match. Seems to be a trend this year.
- Email campaigns start 2/3rd November, building hype before the launch. Have a CTA in those emails which can allow them to add the launch date into their calendar. The email G @retentiongoat will be taking charge of my emails this Q4 so we gonna print biiiiig
Site:
- PDP messaging all BFCM. Announcement bar. Sticky banner on PDP images. Offer messaging. Countdown timers on PDP and in drawer cart. Push hard everywhere.
Everyone is fighting for the purchase on BFCM weekend so you want to urgencymaxx as hard as you possibly can
Bundles bundles bundles:
- Last year my CPM doubled and CPCs went up 80% and I still made bank as I offset it with a huge AOV through bundles. Bundles SKU’s together where you can. Bundles are great as you can increase AOV massively whilst also giving yourself enough room to lead with huge BF discount incentives that still give you juicy margins.
Ad account:
- BFCM campaigns run on 1 day click. Evergreen stays as default.
- Surf scale as hard as you possibly can. Break through all limiting beliefs because anything is possible during this weekend. If you are hitting targets, push hard and don’t stop pushing.
Happy printing
The plan wasn't to build a software
I started 2 years ago building an internal database of the best DTC brands to use for both product research and ideation for creative concepts
I'm not talking about the brands we all know like gruns, IM8 etc,
I'm talking about the brands that are heavily DR focused and hit rapid scale fast.
The resilia's, and the lymphoria's of the DTC space - but I was flagging these stores before they hit scale and well before anyone knew who they were
I've had a full-time team dedicated to finding these brands early and the database grew so big that I decided to productize it so others could also benefit
The issue is, all these other ecom SAAS products aren't built by ecom founders, they aren't actively in the trenches.
They're just tech founders trying to capitalize on the ecom space, so they fall short in so many areas
There's so much I can say, but in summary I just wanted something where I could log-in and have the actual saucey/relevant shit right infront of me.
Purely direct-response dtc brands and nothing like this has existed until Vantage.
I built this exactly for me, someone doing multiple 8 figures per year on my own brands and spending millions on my own ad account every month.
I'm not a saas guy, but I know what the ecom space needed and the feedback has been fucking insane
This isn't another cookie cutter version of what is already out there, it's the first of it's kind and honestly absolutely cracked.
It's been in private access only for the past 6 weeks, but soon I will open up a 2nd cohort so more people can benefit before Q4.
If you want to get access to Vantage, you can join the waitlist below
Access won't be shared publically, only to those on the waitlist and probably within the next 7-10 days.
